Pine Bluff Police Make Arrest In Murder

Pine Bluff police say they`re questioning a
man who surrendered after hearing he was being sought in connection
with the death of a former Mississippi resident. The victim was was
beaten and apparently run over.
Twenty-three-year-old Bernard Marks of Pine Bluff was arrested
yesterday and questioned.
Forty-nine-year-old Michael A- Walker. who moved to Pine Bluff
about three years ago from Vicksburg, Mississippi, died early
yesterday at University Hospital in Little Rock.
