Hot Springs Police Work Homicide

Hot Springs police have arrested two men in connection with an early morning homicide. Police say Damond Thompson, 29 and Brian Foot, 32, forced their way into an apartment on 705 South Street and shot the victims. Jamie Vaughn, 27, of Florida was found dead at the scene. The second victim fled the apartment for help. Police haven`t determined a motive for the shooting. "Both are being charged with first-degree murder and attempt to commit first-degree murder," said Cpl. Jason Stachey. The men are being held in the Garland County Detention Center without bond.
