Arkansas First Lady Announces Bush`s Push For Women Voters

Arkansas first lady Janet Huckabee today announced a leadership team in Rogers for President Bush`s re-election campaign`s program called "W Stands for Women." The Arkansas Democratic Party responded by saying "W" is Wrong for Women," saying the Bush administration has cut funding for battered women`s shelters and blocked an equal pay initiative. But Huckabee said Bush is committed to women`s issues, and the Arkansas leadership team will work to try to convince voters of that and promote women`s voter registration.
