Raccoons In Arkadelphia Aren`t Doing Well

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Raccoons in the Arkadelphia area are acting strangely. Animal control officers say the nocturnal creatures are out in the daytime, not aggressive, seemingly unaware of humans and staggering around drunkenly. The population is apparently suffering from distemper. Twenty-four raccoons have died in the Arkadelphia area recently, including one that wandered around in circles in the middle of the road for several minutes yesterday before finally getting run over.
