With Mary Kate Olsen now being treated for an eating disorder, Arkansas doctors are hoping more young adolescents with the problem will come forward. Arkansas Children`s Hospital diagnoses 50 to 60 new cases every year. Doctors say the numbers are not rising, but patients are getting younger. Girls as young as 8 years old are being treated for anorexia. Dr. Maria Portilla with Ar Childrens and UAMS says it`s not just images of models that have young people thinking about their weight. Portilla says it may also be what their learning at home when watching mom and dad diet.
