National Guard Soldiers Injured In Iraq To Undergo Surgery

One of the four soldiers injured in Iraq will undergo surgery tomorrow.
Staff Sergeant Arthur Stockenbury of the Delta Company, Third Battalion, 153rd Infantry, sustained injuries in a mortar Attack Tuesday. He was hit with shrapnel in his neck, shoulders and legs, family members said.
Stockenbury will be flown to Germany for treatment. Doctors won`t remove the shrapnel from his neck because they say it`s too dangerous, according to family members.
Staff Seageant Thomas Labit, Specialist Peter Hildreth and Specialist Ash Ritchie were also injured.
Hildreth and Ritchie were treated and released.
