Late hours will be the rule tonight for bookstores across Arkansas. Parties are planned to begin selling Bill Clinton`s much-anticipated 957-page autobiography "My Life". At That Bookstore in Blytheville, the party starts at 10:30 Monday night. Owner Mary Gay Shipley has asked customers to bring in their own Clinton memorabilia for a show-and-tell of how the former president touched their lives. Carla Swim at Hastings in Fayetteville said the bookstore will likely have a midnight party. She said she`s sure customers will be flipping through the pages looking for familiar names. In Clinton`s birthplace at Hope, interested readers can buy the autobiography at a couple of places -- Wal-Mart and Clinton`s birthplace. In Little Rock, WordsWorth books will open at 11pm and in North Little Rock, Books-A-Million will start a party at 9pm. Clinton will be in Arkansas at least twice to promote "My Life." He`ll be at a yet-to-be-announced location in Pulaski County on July second and at a Fayetteville Wal-Mart on July third.
