Fight Over LRSD Search Continues

The final candidate to lead the Little Rock School District was in town Monday, but the fight over the selection process continues. As parents were meeting with Dr. Stan Mims (Grayslake, IL), supporters of the interim superintendent, Dr. Morris Holmes, gathered in support of him, asking pointed questions about why he is not being considered by the Little Rock School Board. Holmes says he wants to keep the focus on education and shrinking the achievement gap, not on politics. On Tuesday, Dr. Holmes` backers will have a chance to address board members and make their case.
