Four people, including an
Arkansas woman and two children from Georgia, died in a fiery
two-vehicle accident in Mississippi.
The Tuesday crash occurred on U-S 78 near Holly Springs.
Officials identified 56-year-old Livia Mandache of Hot Springs
as being among the victims. Police say her car went out of control
and collided with a tractor-trailer.
Police identified the other victims as seven-year-old
Christopher Popa, four-year-old Aiden Popa and 21-year-old Tina
Nistor, all of Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Witnesses said the car may have suffered a blowout shortly
before the crash and had ended up under the truck. Both vehicles
then burned.
