Soldier On Active Duty May Get To Vote In Primary

Thousands of Arkansas soldiers are deployed in Iraq and won`t be home to vote in the presidential primary next month. Arkansas National Guard officials say they`re taking steps to ensure that the soldiers get to vote. The guard currently has about 36 hundred soldiers on active duty. State Senator Jimmy Jeffress sent a letter to the Army yesterday, urging it to assist members to vote in the primary.
