An Arkansas Scholarship Lottery prize winner who had been sought by Little Rock Police in a stolen ticket case is set to turn himself in later this week.

Police say the attorney for Mamdough Attia, 47, contacted detectives after the news aired his client's photo and told them Attia will surrender Thursday morning..

Attia redeemed a winning instant ticket in the Cool Cash game worth $20,000 back in February.

Police say the ticket was part of a pack of tickets reported stolen from the Fast Mart on Baseline Road.

Based on the amount of the winnings, Attia redeemed the ticket at the Little Rock Claim Center in downtown. Police say he signed a document when he claimed the prize.

The arrest warrant for Attia charges him with Felony Theft.
