Arkansas Offers Tax Amnesty Program

The Natural State is allowing delinquent taxpayers to pay back taxes without financial penalties or criminal prosecution. Applications must be submitted between July 1, 2004 and September 30, 2004. To download and application, click on www.arkansas.gov/dfa/amnesty.html. Arkansas lost $30 million over the decade because of delinquent taxpayers. The state is now working with the federal government to track them down.
