Tax Time: Do Arkansas Companies Pay Their Fair Share?

It`s that taxing time of year again, but some say Arkansas companies are getting off easy. A new study by the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families shows a change in who`s shouldering the tax burden in Arkansas. It shows corporations contributed three of every ten tax dollars 30 years ago, but that now it`s only one of ten. The state Chamber of Commerce says those numbers don`t add up and that, actually, Arkansas businesses shoulder a heavier burden than companies in other states.
