Peeping Tom Leaves Letter Of Apology And Cash

Updated: January 7, 2009
Mountain Home police are looking for an unusual Peeping Tom -- one who left behind a letter of apology and 20 dollars. A resident of Keystone Apartments found the letter and cash on his front doorstep about 30 minutes after chasing the voyeur away Saturday night. Police Sergeant Nevin Barnes says the computer-generated letter apologized, but also requested that the resident allow the Tom to keep peeping. Pam Hood, manager of the apartment complex, said former residents of the apartment next door had similar complaints. Apartment residents have spent the last two weeks making plans for a neighborhood watch group. Posted by Mike Hellgren
