Classes Resume In Alread

Authorities are still on the lookout for two fugitives from Van Buren County. The men have now been on the run for a full week. Forty-nine-year-old Mark Holsombach and 28-year-old William Frazier are wanted in the shooting of a state trooper. Police had gathered at the men`s makeshift cabin near Alread on March 22nd to serve warrants. A shot rang out, wounding a trooper. Police surrounded the shack for ten hours, but he men had vanished. Turkey hunters were on the mountain during the weekend, but were advised to stay away from the area where officers had been searching. Police say there is no sign of the fugitives. Classes at the Alread School District were called off all last week. Today, school officials say classes are resuming.
