Some of that email in your inbox may have been sent by someone over the age of 55, according to a new poll. A recent survey conducted by Microsoft shows 97 percent of elderly americans log on daily to send email. 75 percent of them prefer receiving email over handwritten cards and letters. "It`s instant," says 70-year old Emogene Tindall. "It`s almost like talking to someone personally." Officials at the Patrick Henry Hays Senior Center in North Little Rock says computer classes are in high demand. "We have a waiting list of 300,400 trying to get into class," says Director Charley Baxter. More than 600 of the center`s 6,300 members have completed computer courses since the center opened last year, Baxter said.
