Arkansas Attorney General Mike Beebe certified the language in two ballot titles this afternoon. The first is an amendment which would make same sex marriage and civil unions illegal. Supporters of the amendment must now gather over 80 thousand signitures of registered voters for the issue to appear on the ballot.
The second controversial ballot title would allow the use of marijuana for medical reasons.
The ballot initiative limits its use and how much can be prescribed.
Supporters of that measure must gather over 60 thousand signitures.
