The foundation building Bill Clinton`s presidential library in Little Rock wants to give supporters an opportunity to preserve their own history for future generations. With about 250 days to the library`s opening, the Clinton Foundation is starting a new fundraising drive centered on a time capsule. In letters sent today, foundation president Skip Rutherford asks supporters to send more money and return an enclosed card with their thoughts and wishes for the future. A capsule containing the cards will be buried on August 19th -- Clinton`s 58th birthday -- under Celebration Circle -- an area in front of the library planned for a large fountain. The capsule will also include an entry written by President Clinton. A plaque will direct museum officials to open the capsule on August 18th, 2104, so they can display the historical documents the next day -- the 158th anniversary of Clinton`s birth.
