The Arkansas National Guard says it is
entering into an agreement with the University of Arkansas at Fort
Smith to allow soldiers to attend the school without paying
tuition.
Officials from the guard and the university were to sign
documents tomorrow to put the program into effect.
Major General Don Morrow, adjutant general for Arkansas, says
the guard is pleased to receives the support for the state`s
soldiers and airmen.
Under a Defense Department program, 75 percent of tuition costs
for service members are picked up. The agreement will have U-A Fort
