Arkansas` Jobless Rate Climbs In February

Arkansas` unemployment rate climbed to 5.5%, rising from 5.2% in January. Nationally, the unemployment rate was unchanged between the months, at 5.6%. The state data, released today by the Workforce Investment Board, showed that $1.238 million Arkansans held jobs in February, down eleven-hundred from the previous month. Nonfarm industries showed a gain of 5,900 jobs.
