State`s Largest Insurance Company Lowers Rates

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, the largest car insurer in Arkansas, says it will lower its rates by four-point-one percent overall. The company says that the rate change will take effect April first, a reduction of twelve-point-seven (m) million dollars. The company says a large part of the decrease is coming through a bigger break for motorists who have not had accidents. Comprehensive coverage, which pays when a vehicle is stolen or damaged by causes other than a crash, will see the greatest discount, State Farm said. The company says individual policyholders will see varied decreases, based on the coverage they carry and the discounts for which they qualify. The company says it insures one of four automobiles in Arkansas.
