Man Charged With Manslaughter In Death Of 11 Year Old Girl

A man has been arrested on a manslaughter charge in the death of an eleven-year-old girl who was shot as she sat on the couch in her Phillips County home, Lenner Rogers, whose age was not available, was arrested yesterday in the death of Latisha Henry. He also was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, and was being held without bond in the Phillips County jail. Latisha died Monday of a gunshot wound in the right arm and chest. Investigators said Rogers told them he went to the house with a .22-caliber rifle, and the gun accidentally discharged as he entered the house.
