Deadly Bus Crash Kills Three

An afterschool accident in Garland County claimed the lives of three teenagers. Petru Cimuca, Lucian Bencea and Andrei Bencea (all 16) were riding in a Geo Prizm when the car collided with a Lake Hamilton school bus. At the time, there were 46 students on the bus, but all were able to walk away from the accident. State Troopers on the scene say as tragic as the accident was, it could have been worse. After the initial collision, the bus collided with a pole just feet away from a US Bank that, at the time, was crowded with workers and customers. Troopers say the small bank would have been no match for the bus.
