Serial Killer May Have Struck In Arkansas

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Law officers are investigating whether the deaths of ten women in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Mississippi are linked to a serial killer. Police say they believe the killer as a long-haul truck driver preying on women around truck stops. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram in Texas reports investigators from across the South are to meet in Oklahoma City next week to exchange information on a woman found dead in Grapevine. The death of 19-year-old Casey Jo Pipestem of Oklahoma City is the most recent suspected to be linked to the killer. Most of the victims were prostitutes. Some were strangled; one was raped. In many cases, their nude bodies were dumped in rural areas, often off bridges. Most of the eight women found in Texas and Oklahoma are believed to have been prostitutes involved with drugs. All were found nude with no identification.
