Traffic returned to normal Sunday after more Old Man Winter dumped about an inch of snow on the Capital City Saturday. Drivers, unable to successfully navigate the roadways, were sidelined in ditches and highway off-ramps because of the snow. "We tend to drive a little bit faster than usually during snow," says Tami Ellington, a shift supervisor with 911 dispatch. "Because of that we end up having a lot of accidents," she said. Ellington estimates call volume climbed about 70 percent Saturday night. No snow-related fatalites were reported in the city.
