Arkansas To Get Encyclopedia

On the project`s first anniversary,
organizers say they`ve raised a million and half dollars to put together the first Arkansas encyclopedia.
A staff of six have secured the help of about 200 writers to write the encyclopedia.
The Encyclopedia of Arkansas History & Culture was started to counter decades of misinformation and the negative image Arkansans have shouldered from generation to generation.
The project editor says online and print versions of the book will be available. The plan is to have the encyclopedia online by June 2005 and the print version available in 2010.
