Updated: January 7, 2009
A Wal-Mart greeter was stabbed to death inside his Pennsylvania apartment yesterday after he told a neighbor that he was being stalked and threatened by a man he had caught shoplifting. Liaquat Habib died two hours after a neighbor in Allentown reported hearing Habib`s wife scream. Habib had worked for Wal-Mart for seven years, and a neighbor said Habib had caught a man stealing from the store three or four times. The last time, Habib said the shoplifter told him, "The next time I see you, I`ll kill you." A Wal-Mart spokeswoman in Bentonville said the company has sent grief counselors to the store to help other employees. Posted by Mike Hellgren
