Clark Staffers Saddened By Failed Campaign

Staffers with Wesley Clark`s presidential campaign say they`re saddened by the end result, but pleased to be a part of it. "Most Americans don`t get to meet their heroes and we got to work for ours," said Michael Winters, a delegate coordinator. "While we`re sad at this moment, there`s this incredible sense of gratitude for the experience," he said. The retired general pulled out of the race Wednesday after failing to win key states in the primaries. Sources close to Clark say he will endorse Senator John Kerry tomorrow. Clark, who was the last Democratic candidate to enter the presidential race, skipped the Iowa Caucuses and focused on the New Hampshire Primary. He came in third in that race.
