A Lesson in Grief

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
For the first time Arkansas Children`s Hospital is teaching adults a special way to help the kids in their lives deal with grief. The hospital`s Center for Good Mourning hosted more than 100 school counselors, clergymen and other adults in a conference called "Always in My Heart." The seminar focused on ways to give kids space to express their feelings and ask questions after a loss. Young people who don`t fully deal with their grief can end up having problems in relationships or developing anxiety later in life. If you`d like to find out more about the support groups and other services offered by the Center for Good Mourning call 364-7000.
