Benton Police Question Teen In Connection With Abandoned Baby

A former student of Benton High School was questioned by police in connection with an abandoned baby left at the school, sources said Saturday. The woman, who has not been identified, is believed to have had the baby at her home. She then left the baby in the school`s band room for someone to find, police sources say. The baby, found at the school on January 29th, is now in DHS custody. Saline County Prosecutor Robert Herzfeld plans a news conference on Monday.
