Clark Energized And On the Attack

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Democratic presidential hopeful Wesley Clark is attacking his two main rivals records in Congress. The retired Army general won the Oklahoma primary last night. Senator John Kerry took five states in yesterday`s voting, and Senator John Edwards won in South Carolina. Appearing in Memphis today, Clark reminded patrons at a diner of both senators` support for policies they have come to assail. Clark didn`t name Edwards or Kerry but said they voted for the entering the war with Iraq, No Child Left Behind and the Patriot Act -- and now they are criticizing those Bush policies. Tennessee and Virginia hold primaries on Tuesday, but aides say Clark is concentrating on Tennessee, where he is expected to face strong competition from Edwards. Edwards was a close second in Oklahoma. Posted by Mike Hellgren
