The support staff of the Pulaski County Special School Distict is finishing day four of their strike. And it`s possible the teachers` union may be joining them. Unions for both groups, PACT and PASS, held meetings on Thursday evening to discuss this week`s strike. PACT, the teachers` union, was expected to discuss if or how they`ll support the PASS strike. So far, the Pulaski County School District is reporting about 26% of buses are reporting to schools. Earlier this week, many schools had no teachers, as they were out in honor of the PASS strike. Teacher attendance is up to 95% Thursday, but there hasn`t been much improvement for student attendance. About 66% percent of them were in schools today. The PASS union has requested another meeting with the board to discuss their recognition of the union Friday evening. The school board voted to de-certify PASS on Tuesday night.
