Baby found at Benton High School

A baby girl was found wrapped in blankets lying in a coke crate inside the band room at Benton High School this morning. The school`s music director found the baby after 10:30 this morning. Doctors at Saline Memorial Hospital say the baby is fine. She appears to be 24 to 48 hours old. The baby will be taken to Arkansas Children`s while DHS investigates.
