Felons Roam The Streets of Saline County

About 45 convicted felons are roaming the streets of Saline County because of a lack of room at the jail. The Saline County Detention Facility has 32 beds, but often houses as many as 68 inmates. Some of the felons were convicted on charges ranging from sexual abuse to manufacturing crystal meth. Prosecutor Robert Herzfeld says he`s working with the Quorum Court and discuss preliminary jail construction.
