Update = Governor Says Supreme Court Doing Its Job, Legislature Is Not

Governor Huckabee says the state Supreme Court is fulfilling its duty -- while the legislature is NOT. Justices said today they will appoint a special master to evaluate legislators` efforts to make court-ordered education reforms. The legislature will continue meeting in a special session while the master, who has NOT been named, works independently. Legislators missed a January first deadline to make the changes. Huckabee says by stepping back into the Lake View school funding case, the court is affirming its commitment to the children of the state.
