Little Rock National Airport is going to spend one million dollars renovating its main entrance. The airport commission says the work is in preparation for the planned opening in November of the Clinton Presidential Library. The airport wants to make a good first impression on visitors. The airport will add landscaping and upgrade exterior lighting. The 160 million dollar presidential complex is set to open on November 18th on the banks of the Arkansas River east of downtown. The library is planning a celebration that is to include not only Clinton but other former presidents. State tourism leaders also are gearing up for the library opening, making plans to advertise Arkansas as a destination for British and Irish travelers.
