A woman has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a Jefferson County man. Susan Lawson, age 42, is charged in the shooting death of 43-year-old Timothy Hilborn. The body was found near a home driveway between White Hall and Jefferson on Monday. Authorities say Hilborn was shot once in the chest after an argument with Lawson. A large caliber semi-automatic handgun believed to be the murder weapon was recovered at the scene. Jefferson County authorities say Hilborn had been involved in an eight-hour standoff with sheriff`s deputies, Pine Bluff and White Hall police Departments, and Arkansas State Police in 1998. He was released from federal prison in September. Posted by Mike Hellgren
