Thousands of Arkansans braved the cold to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior at the 20th Annual Marade, through the streets of downtown Little Rock. This year`s themes included educational equality, economic and social justice and the stopping the violence. "This shows the unity that black people and other people can come out togehter and have a good time and support what he stood for," said Mikal Resul, who cam to see the parade. A program followed the Marade with speakers including Lt. Gov. Win Rockefeller and Dr. Trudie Kibbe Reed, president of Philander Smith College.
