North Little Rock leaders are going all out for the citys 100th birthday celebration. Concerts, theatre performances and a storefront Art Walk are just some of the plans scheduled for two-day event. The centennial celebration kicks off April 30th. "We want to have everyone come over and celebrate our birthday party and join us in our festivities, " says NLR Mayor Patrick Hays. "Happy birthday, NLR. Happy birthday to the past and future." In 1904, the state Supreme Court upheld a case separating North Little Rock from Little Rock. The city plans to hold other centennial-related events throughout the year.
