breaking news
A man who fatally shot his son while hunting last month was stripped of his hunting license for life.
Gary Galloway, of Greers Ferry, was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor and violating the Hunter Orange requirement. He pleaded guilty on both charges.
Judge Michael Irwin also stripped Galloway of his gun ownership privileges and fined him $405.
Galloway, who also wounded a man while hunting in 1998, could have faced up to ten years in prison.
