A native Camden filmmaker who starred in a 1960s TV show plans to begin filming a movie in Eureka Springs next month. Beth Brickell, who starred in the television series "Gentle Ben" from 1967 to 1969, said that she will film "Mister Christmas", at The Victorian in downtown Eureka Springs. Brickell, who now lives in Paron, said she also will use some residential areas in the resort town. The movie is set in 1941 and centers on a father who can`t afford to his daughter a bicycle for Christmas. This is the second film in less than a year to be made in Eureka Springs. Last year, Arkansas native Billy Bob Thornton filmed the movie "Chrystal" in the area.
