Updated: January 7, 2009
Little Rock police shot a man in the stomach after a domestic disturbance turned violent on Brown Street. Police say the man had possibly come from Memphis to see his wife. When he got to the home, officers say he fired several rounds from a semiautomatic shotgun. Then, the man and his wife went outside. That`s when the wife spotted an officer driving nearby and flagged him down. Police say her husband started running. He ran down 20th Street, where he hid in an alley. Little Rock Police say the officer saw him draw his weapon, and shot him in the stomach. He underwent surgery at a Little Rock hospital. Posted by Mike Hellgren
