According to report in Arkansas Business, Bake-Line Group in North Little Rock suspended operations today. About 100 workers at the plant make cookies and crackers, but a sign taped to the plant`s doors announced the shut down to workers. The company also ceased operations at its other manufacturing plants, according to Ron Bottrell of Dome Communications in Chicago, the company`s acting spokesman. Bake-Line Group notified all its plants Friday that it would shut down in 60 to 90 days. The company suspended operations today because promised funding did not come through, Bottrell told the weekly newspaper.
