Clark Catching Up To Dean

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
After a few rookie mistakes, Arkansan Wesley Clark seems to be hitting his stride in the weeks leading up to the New Hampshire primary. Clark has leapfrogged MA Senator John Kerry, and now finds himself in second place in New Hampshire. It`s the same story at the national level where the race between Dean and Clark is even closer. Though Dean says he`s not concerned with Clark`s momentum, the Dean campaign is turning some of its attention to the retired general, handing out brochures questioning Clark`s Democratic credentials. As the Democrats fight for their party`s nomination, President Bush is raking in donations. He enters 2004 with $99 million in the bank.
