Several Conway families, displaced by Tuesday`s chemical plant explosion, will remain in local shelters through Thursday, officials said. Mayor Tab Townsell says several hot spots are still burning around the Detco plant. He also says some stored chemicals need to be secured to prevent future blasts. Officials still don`t know what caused the explosion. Mayor Townsell expects to have most of the residents back in their homes by Friday night.
