Two Roads to Death Row

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
For Charles Singleton and Karl Roberts, the day and place of death will be the same, but that`s where the similarities end. Charles Singleton is Arkansas` longest-serving Death Row inmate, his appeals stretching out over three decades. Karl Roberts was convicted of rape and murder in 2000. The courts have ruled that Roberts` case is clear cut. For Singleton, however, his conviction has been overturned and his case has been argued in front of the country`s highest courts.
