The Department of Agriculture says a sick cow in a Washington State may have suffered from the illness. Final tests will determine that in a few days. Here in the U-S, officials recalled 10,000 pounds of beef. But Arkansas officials say american beef is safe to eat. "The fact is people can alwaysd eat American beef and know that it`s going to be the safest beef, not only in the US, but the world, " says Phil Wyrick, Executive Director with Arkansas Livestock & Poultry. The US sold $3.5 billion in exported beef this year alone. Analysts say the american beef industry is worth about $20 billion.
