NLR Police didnt wait for the big jolly guy to come bearing gifts. Officers hit the streets giving out toys and food to needy families. Officer Tommy Norman led the pack. He started the program five years ago to give something back to the community where he grew up. "The ultimate gift for me is to assist families in need at Christmas, "says Norman. "Its an awesome feeling." Officers gave out about more than 40 toys.
