Arkansas emergency officials say residents
should go about their activities but should also keep their eyes
open. The federal government has raised the terror-threat level
from yellow to Orange.
Arkansans can expect security to be tighter at airports, the
Little Rock Air Force Base, Camp Robinson in North Little Rock and
at other facilities, including the nuclear power plant at
Russellville and the Pine Bluff Arsenal.
Also, shopping malls will be under tightened security.
Holiday travelers can expect added delays.
Emergency Management Department spokeswoman Jennifer Gordon says
residents should be vigilant and know where the exits are in large
facilities.
