Fire Destroys Five Acres in West Little Rock

A fast-moving fire destroyed five acres of land Friday afternoon near Chenal Parkway in West Little Rock. The blaze broke out around 3:00 p.m. Nine engines responded to the call, arriving on the scene around 3:30 p.m. A cause hasn`t been determined. Investigators aays previous brush clearings prevented the fire from spreading to nearby businesses.
